DWA Sabku +// and his owner, David Shefrin
DWA Sabku (Sabson X Saranade) was an exceptional endurance horse whose endurance career started in 1999 and continued until 2014.
He has 4,320 endurance miles which include 85 rides, 78 completions, 18 BC awards, 17 first places, 52 top five places, and 61 top ten places.
DWA Sabku was owned and campaigned by Christoph Schork of Global Endurance between 2000 and 2008. DWA Sabku has completed
eleven 100 mile rides which include the 2008 Big Horn 100 where he placed first and received the BC award, the 2002 Big Horn 100
where he placed 2nd, the 2004 Tevis where he placed 5th, and the 2012 Tevis which he completed at the age of 19 with David Shefrin.
DWA Sabku almost completed the Tevis in 2014 with David at the age of 21, but he was pulled at the stadium after
going the whole 100 miles. DWA is very proud of this horse!
