GE Danex (DWA Express by Sabson X LZP Doubles Dancer) ridden by Felipe Portilla and owned by Christoph Schork, placed 

5th in the 2024  100 mile Tevis Cup ride.  GE Danex also completed the Tevis in 2023 ridden by Katrin Levermann.

eight rides in the 2024 season:  Antelope Island day two 25 mile ride, 6th place;  Eagle Canyon day two 50 mile ride,

6th place;  Mary & Anna Memorial day one 50 mile ride, 22nd place;  Mary & Anna Memorial day two 25 mile ride,

10th place;  Sleeping Giant day two 25 mile ride, 9th place;  Bandit Springs day three 50 mile ride, 2nd place and BC 

award;  Old Selam day one 50 mile ride, 15th place;  Old Selam day three 50 mile ride, 1st place and BC award.

DWA Barack (Moment of Valor X DWA French Kiss by Haffir el Rimal) ridden by his owner, Connie Holloway, completed six

rides in the 2024 season:  Antelope Island day one 30 mile ride, 8th place;  Eagle Canyon day one 50 mile ride, 8th place;

City of Rocks day one 50 mile ride, 9th place;  Sleeping Giant day two 25 mile ride;  Bandit Springs day two 50 mile ride;

DWA Malik (Monarch AH X DWA Croix Blanche by Ala Croixnoire) with his owner, Jeff Stuart, (above photos) placed 3rd in the 

Wahatoya Cup 100 mile ride.  DWA Malik also completed the Antelope Island day one 50 mile ride with Cheryl Van Deusen.  

Malik placed 1st and BC, ridden by Jeff, in the City of Rocks day two 50 mile ride and 1st place and BC in the Autumn Sun 

day three 50 mile ride.  Malik and Jeff also tied for first place in the Happy Jack

 placed 1st in the City of Rocks 30 mile ride on day one.  DWA Zifhasan also completed the Antelope Island day one 

50 mile ride and placed 7th in the Autumn Sun day two 25 mile ride.  DWA Zifhasan tied for 1st place in the

Both horses completed the day two 25 mile ride at the Eagle Canyon Ride.  They also completed 50 mile rides at the

Rosies Atlas and Tamara did complete the 2024 Mary & Anna 100 mile ride and placed 10th in the 2024 Strawberry Fields 50 mile ride.

  DWA Haffirs Tika (Haffir el Rimal X LZP Royal Tiki by Sam Tiki) completed seven rides in 2023 that included 

205 endurance miles and 75 LD miles, 4 in the top ten. 

In the 2024 season DWA Haffirs Tika completed the 50 mile Fire Mt. ride with Caroline de Bourbon and completed her first 

100 mile ride at the 20 Mule Team ridden by Robert Ribley.  Her owner, Gretchen Montgomery, rode her in the 

NASTR and they placed 10th.  They also completed 50 mile rides at the Wild West Pioneer and Cuneo Creek rides.  

Gretchen is riding DWA Haffirs Tika in the photo on the left (taken by Chris Walker) .  

Caroline de Bourbon is riding in the photo on the right (taken by Benjamin Schramm).

DWA Nadra+ (Falina des Fabries X Royal Perrfection by Monarch AH) completed the 30 mile ride at City of Rocks (day 2, 7th place) with her owner, Anne Aganon.  Anne and DWA Nadra+ completed the 50 mile ride at Santiam Cascade in 6th place.  DWA Nadra+ and Anne are now an AERC Decade Team and they have received two awards from the Arabian Horse Association.  DWA Nadra+ has qualified for the AHA Legion of Honor Award and Anne received the AHA Rider of Honor Champion award.   (Photo on left by Merri Melde, the middle and right photos by DktaJay)

His owner, Connie Holloway rode him in three LD rides:   Eagle Canyon (25 miles);  City of Rocks, day 1 (30 miles ); and City of Rocks,

day 3 (30 miles, 4th place).  Connie rode DWA Barack in the 50 mile ride at Bandit Springs, day 2, where they placed 3rd and 

received the High Vet Score.   Connie and Barack placed 8th at the Mt Adams Midnight Rider 50 mile ride.

He completed five LD rides:  Eagle Canyon (25 miles); City of Rocks, day 1 (30 miles); City of Rocks, day 3 (30 miles, 10th place); 

 Old Selam, day 1 (25 miles);  Old Selam, day 3 (25 miles, 7th place, High Vet Score).  All of his LD rides ended with 36-44 HR.  

DWA Hercules completed his first 50 mile ride at Autumn Sun Pioneer, day 3, where he was in the top ten 

and received the High Vet Score with a CRI of 48-44.

Right:  DWA Diva (NF Proof X DWA Croix Blanche by Ala Croixnoire), owned by Lindsay Fisher and ridden by Joslynn Terry, also completed her first

endurance season with 5 LD rides:  Eagle Canyon, (25 miles); City of Rocks, day 1 (30 miles); City of Rocks, day 3 (30 miles, 8th place); 

Old Selam, day 1 (25 miles); Old Selam, day 3 (25 miles, 4th place, Junior BC).  All DWA Diva's LD rides ended with 36-44 HR 

and at most of the rides she won Junior BC.  DWA Diva also completed her first 50 mile ride with Joslynn at the

Left and Middle photos:  DWA Malik (Monarch AH X DWA Croix Blanche by Ala Croixnoire) completed three endurance rides this season:  

City of Rocks, day 2, 55 mile ride (3rd place),  Happy Jack, 50 miles (2nd place), and Antelope Island, day 2 (7th place).  His owner, 

Jeff Stuart, rode him in the COR ride and the Happy Jack ride.  Amy Goodwin rode DWA Malik in the Antelope Island ride.  

DWA Malik has a total of 1,330 endurance miles which includes a Tevis Cup completion in 2021 and 130 LD miles.

DWA Superman (Monarch AH X DWA Croix Blanche by Ala Croixnoire)  completed nine 50 mile endurance rides in the southeast region in the 2022 season.  The photo on the left was taken on day 1 of the Celebration 50 mile ride.  The center photo is from day 1 of the Gator Run 50 mile ride, 

and the photo on the right is from the McCulley Farms ride where he completed the 50 mile day 1 and day 2 rides.  He also completed 50 mile 

rides at the Goethe Benefit, Gallop on the Greenway Pioneer, the River Rise Ramble, the Biltmore Challenge, and the Yellowhammer 

rides in 2022.  DWA Superman was ridden by Melissa Ribley in all nine rides.  

In 2023, DWA Superman completed two 50 mile rides at Cuneo Creek, ridden by Zoe Whittall.   

He has a total of 850 endurance miles with 17 starts and 17 finishes.    (Photos by Maria Phillips)

DWA Haffirs Tika (Haffir el Rimal X LZP Royal Tiki by Sam Tiki) completed three rides in the 2022 endurance season.  The first ride was 

the Fire Mountain Pioneer 30 mile ride with her owner Laurie Birch.  The next two rides were the Quicksilver Fall Classic 50 mile ride and 

the Bill Thornburgh 50 mile ride where she placed 4th.  These two rides were ridden by her present owner, Gretchen Montgomery.

DWA Barack (Moment of Valor by Wiking X DWA French Kiss by Haffir el Rimal) and his owner, Connie Holloway, 

completed seven rides in 2022, with 250 miles in endurance and 60 LD miles. making overall 310 miles this season.

The rides they completed were:  Owyhee Tough Sucker 50;  Eagle Canyon 50;  City of Rocks Pioneer, 2 days of 50 mile rides;

Bandit Springs 30 mile ride;  Autumn Sun Distance Nationals, 50 miles;  Owyhee Halloween Pioneer, 30 mile, 3rd place, BC award.

DWA Zahir (DWA Ziffalat by Falat X DWA Merlot by Sabson) completed his first two 50 mile rides with his owner, Mary Austin in 2022.
