DWA Barack, 2021 Rides

DWA Barack (Moment of Valor by Wiking X DWA French Kiss by Haffir el Rimal) completed 12 rides in 2021 with his owner, Connie Holloway.

 250 miles of endurance and 155 miles of LD rides, with a total of 405 overall miles for the season.  

The rides were:  Eagle Canyon, 25 miles, 7th place;  City of Rocks Pioneer, 25 miles on day 2 and day 3;  Summertime Blues, 25 miles, 3rd place;  

Top O' the World Pioneer, 50 miles, 4th place;  Old Selam, 50 miles;  Autumn Sun Pioneer, 30 miles on day 2, 6th place and High Vet Score;  

Autumn Sun Pioneer Pioneer, 50 mile ride on day 3, 9th place;   Owyhee Halloween, 50 miles, 10th place.

DWA Einstein (Samsheik by Sambor X DWA Mellina by Sabson) and his owner, Carrie Johnson, completed 10 LD rides in 2021. 

It was DWA Einstein's first ride season, with a total of 260 miles for the season.  The rides they completed were:  Eagle Canyon, 

Owyhee Tough Sucker, Summertime Blues, Old Selam Pioneer - 3 days, Autumn Sun Pioneer - 3 days, Owyhee Halloween.

DWA Malik (Monarch AH X DWA Croix Blanche by Ala Croixnoire) and his owner, Jeff Stuart, completed the 2021 Tevis Cup 100 mile ride.  

To successfully complete this difficult ride is quite an accomplishment!        (Photo by Merri Melde)

Other rides they completed in 2021 were:  Owyhee Tough Sucker, 30 mile ride, 5th place;  Old Selam 50 mile ride, 3rd place on day 3.  

DWA Nadra has a total of 1,335 endurance miles and 285 LD miles for the ride seasons through 2021.  

 DWA Saruq and DWA Jamal, 2021 Rides

DWA Saruq also placed 5th in the 55 mile ride at the Owyhee Tough Sucker with Connie.  DWA Saruq has a 

total of 2,801 endurance miles and 230 LD miles with an overall 3,040 miles, which includes two 100 mile rides.

DWA Jamal placed 5th in the 2021 Racing Stripes 55 mile ride and placed 7th in the 2021 Jo Tate Memorial 50 mile 

ride on day 1.  Deb and Jamal also placed 3rd in the 2021 Quitague Climb and Region 9 AHA Championship 50 mile 

ride and they placed 3rd in the 2021 Armadillo 105 mile ride.   DWA Jamal has a total of 1,540 endurance miles 

and 445 LD miles with an overall 2,040 miles which include two 100 mile rides.  

 Rosies Atlas, 2021 Rides

 Three DWA horses completed rides at the 2021 Tough Sucker.
